The first day of fall...

Today is the first official day of FALL and it is upwards of 80 degrees here in the Appalachians of Kentucky...sigh.

I associate cooler, crisper weather with the word FALL, and don't get me wrong, the mornings and evenings are delightful.  We are also experiencing a lot of low level fog, which gives it an even more fall-like feeling.

But, with FALL comes allergies, for me and both of the girls.

We are all three usually battling the sniffling, sneezing, watery eyes until at least November.

But, with all the allergy battles, I can honestly say FALL is my most favorite time of year.

The changing, vibrant colors of the leaves are just so magical.

I am amazed year after year at this creation that the Good Lord made, that would go through these changes preparing for its return in the spring.

Awe inspiring!

  1. Yes, it is worth the sneezes, sniffling and teary eyes.....I can't wait to get on the parkway and see what beauty awaits us this fall.

Hugs to the girls, hope they are feeling better, rain may be coming this weekend and that is good news for allergy sufferers.

    Hugs
